Well Rolan and
the boys returned to the brilliant ‘Blues Bar’ a lot
sooner than we thought!
Super Hawaiian shirt wearing landlord Simon insisted Rolan rocked
the place again before leaving the UK!
So more or less a month later to the day Rolan is back! What a show
the boys put on, probably the finest set of the tour.

It is a completely different feeling when Rolan is on stage knowing
that the crowd have loved him before and have come back for more;
Rolan and the band are more relaxed than usual (if that’s
possible) and they gave an excellent performance!
The fact of the matter is we were so enthralled we forgot to take
down the set list! We do know that Rolan rocked his heart out; also
never known before, the Hawaiian shirt wearer let Rolan do two songs
for the encore! We do have these in the right order though, the
first was his dad’s ‘Cosmic dancer’, which Rolan
has a great affinity with; last song of the night? Nah! Vinny insisted
on strumming the opening chords to ‘20th century boy’
until the band caved in and gave it all their worth!
A truly wonderful show, the partying carried on until the early
hours and Simon was presented with a signed drum skin! This going
on display at the Blues Bar, so pop in and have a look.
With all great traditions the band drove the now faithful tranny
van home to Bridlington only to run out of petrol a few miles from
home; drummer Bertie being the switched on dude that he is called
Vinny’s sister and she came to their rescue. Bless her.
