The ‘Blues
Bar’ is a fantastic venue for live music, which is supported
by a very knowledgeable crowd; they know what they like.
Rolan Bolan and the boys were well appreciated, so much so that
people had to be turned away at the door. Okay the venue isn’t
the biggest of places, it holds about 100-150 people; and they crammed
in, taking up the stairway which led to the upper bar.
Rolan was busy talking to his own and his Dad’s fans from
the moment he walked in the building; he was greeted by Brenda Shepard
and Purple Pie Pete (pictured below) who gave him a bouquet of flowers
and a framed set of photos.
Also in attendance was Paul Fenton who used to play drums for Marc
Bolan in the mid seventies, Paul also gave Rolan a photo of the
late but great Mickey Finn who sadly passed away last year.
The set was brilliant and the band was asked to return in the near
future!
