The return of his Dad’s lost archives

We are pleased to inform fans that (in accordance with the company’s
stated objectives) we are now in a position to forward to Rolan
the following collection of his father’s material :-
TWO of Marc’s original ‘reel-to-reel’, tape spools;
the first a 5 ½ inch spool containing the ‘Electric
Warrior’ home recorded demo’s from early 1971; the second
a 10 ½ inch spool containing acoustic ‘Tanx’
home recorded demo’s from the summer/autumn of 1972.
THREE Cd roms containing over three hundred colour and black and
white photographs of Marc, many unpublished and some previously
unseen, with each Cd rom presented with an accompanying illustrated
booklet of the images.
FORTY TWO colour illustrated pages of Marc’s previously unseen
and unpublished manuscripts-representing eight completed works.
TWENTY TWO data discs (each one illustrated) containing the facsimile
archives of The Official Marc Bolan Fan Club predating
the previous club owners.
These disc contain facsimile ‘back up’ copies of between
seventy and eighty of Marc’s original tape spools with contents
including Marc’s home recordings, studio out-takes, mixing
desk concert recordings, acoustic demo’s, run throughs, concert
tour rehearsals and radio appearances….with some of the contents
being previously unheard and unreleased.

In addition
we have also negotiated the purchase, from a private collector,
of a comprehensive and quite stunning photographic collection said
to contain over a thousand images of Marc: to be forwarded to Rolan
as a series of illustrated full-colour spiral bound booklets, each
with an accompanying Cd rom.
We hope that this is just the beginning and that, as the company
continues to gain support and grow to become more influential, we
will be in the position to return to Rolan an even greater part
of his father’s ‘lost’ heritage and archives.
