17th, January, 2005 - Rolan, U.K. to L.A. then back again.
Rolan is once again in the UK! He has been doing some more work on the ‘Born to Boogie’ DVD and he is very pleased with the progress of the project; still on course for a May release! May will soon be here but it’s like waiting for a new single or album release from Marc when we could not get enough of him in his heyday. We just can’t wait to get hold of a copy, with all the new found footage of Marc; Rolan doing interviews with those that have survived, and were involved with the original film. This 2 disc set should be a real gem and get Marc back into the limelight! More info on the project can be found by clicking on the ‘Born to Boogie’ link on the links page.

Rolan will be back in L.A. towards the end of this month, he will be back in the UK late February. There is promise of a great year ahead for Rolan!

“I'm back in Los Angeles and I wish you all a happy holiday. I will be back in London in January to finish the extra footage for "Born to Boogie." Lot's of love, Rolan”.

For those of you who missed the Steve Harley ‘sounds of the seventies’ with Rolan talking to Steve about his mum and dad, you can listen to it again by following this link to Steve Harley's Show. Steve obviously had a great relationship with Marc and Gloria, he still has very warm memories of them both.

Rolan is back in the UK! First of all don’t forget to tune into Steve Harley’s ‘sound of the seventies’ show tomorrow as Rolan will be talking to Steve. (See news below for more info and link). Rolan will also be doing some more filming for the ‘Born to Boogie’ DVD due for release next year!

Rolan is also in demand elsewhere? There have been a few bogus shows being advertised at venues that Rolan, the band, their agents or ourselves have no knowledge. The shows have been booked by a dubious agent who has duped venues into booking Rolan and the band; some venues may also have lost money! Please let us know if you hear of any Rolan shows being promoted in this manner so that we can try and stop this agent.
We have been told that all Rolan Bolan shows will appear on this site first! We apologise for any misunderstanding this may have caused the public or venues concerned but this situation is not of Rolan, the band or our doing.
